idk if it makes any sense or not, but as uncomfortable as i am in dresses, and despite not identifying as a girl anymore, everytime i picture myself getting married i still imaging a big fluffy dress and perfect makeup and idk what that says abt me
i think it means you are not a girl but you still enjoy femininity. im a trans guy and once i pass more ill be dressing more girly, it’s because i feel more comfortable with femininity when people see me as male.

when lesbians get married, they're often in two dresses, a dress and suit, or two suits. why should you as a man not be able to wear a dress? there are no rules and you should do what makes you happy.

like maybe i’m not rlly trans if i still want such a traditionally feminine role in something like a wedding, that already relies so heavily on gender stereotypes

do you feel happy when you imagine yourself that way? it might just be force of habit (it’s also ok if you do…doesn’t take away from your identity)

personally i think more men should wear feminine clothes, cis or trans

ig it’s just hard to balance wanting to be more feminine in certain areas with not feeling like it takes away from my gender somehow. i think i just have a really complicated experience with my gender identity tbh.

it’s what i’d want for that event, yeah. i can’t imagine wearing a suit or not wearing nice makeup or something to my own wedding and still enjoying it.

and it's totally okay to feel that way!! i think it's just important for you to point out to yourself that femininity doesn't equal womanhood and it's completely okay for people, including yourself, to express and pursue femininity without it defining themselves
