Iโ€™m bi but they didnโ€™t put that on mine. Is it because they know I donโ€™t get laid?

Iโ€™m bisexual and a virgin but my doctor has had me get screened 3 times โ€œjust in caseโ€.

They describe it like this so that insurance covers it btw. I do think itโ€™s funny Iโ€™m diagnosed with high risk homosexual behavior tho

Lmaooo I got labeled with โ€œhigh risk homosexual behaviorโ€ when I went in to start prep, I wasnโ€™t sexually active whatsoever at the time. I asked my doctor and they said they chart it that way so your insurance is more likely to cover the medication and associated tests. Canโ€™t really make the argument that you donโ€™t need preventative care if your chart shows youโ€™re at risk of preventable illness

Medically they define โ€œriskโ€ with respect to mode of transmission of potential STIs (whether condoms were used and which body parts are involved) and it has nothing to do with number of sexual partners.

Wait, how do you even use those? I mean, as soon as you use your mouth, doesn't it just move around and make the whole thing pointless?

Itโ€™s because I donโ€™t use condoms with my boyfriend (thatโ€™s labeled as high risk) and I sleep with males and females

Anonymous replying to -> OP 13h

But youโ€™re not sleeping with both at once, right? Idk not using condoms with a lot of ppl is kinda risky but I donโ€™t think youโ€™re doing that

I plan to see a new partner this month so, while currently just with one partner, soon it will be 2. No protection with only one person is still risky because you canโ€™t know for sure whether theyโ€™re exclusive with you. Some other comments also mentioned how itโ€™s likely for insurance

not using any protection except birth control is high risk behavior for the spread of stds
