
All you can do is hope they learn when they hit rock bottom, unless they have some documentation of discrimination other than word of mouth they unfortunately have no case. Transitioning is stupid pricy and I can understand wanting to be comfortable in your own skin but unless they have a plan for the possibility of being evicted other than suing they just gonna have to live,laugh,love, and learn
yeah these kinds of people really frustrate me because its not transphobia on their part, it’s called “you need to be an adult and pay the rent and we’re calling you out for it” but when they claim transphobia over something that is not transphobia, i feel like it makes actual transphobia/homophobia seem easier to brush off. kinda a boy who cried wolf situation
yeah I don't think there's anything you can do in this situation, just try not to get too entangled in it. like I lost a friend by refusing to take in their kittens because they decided they didn't want to pay the pet fee at their apartment and threw a massive fit when the cats were discovered anyways. I also found out afterwards their roommate was severely allergic to cats...
