Im not nasty, you don’t even know me. Youre just triggered and have lots of assumptions and prejudice. I’m following my religion. I’m not hateful, I don’t think gay people are bad, it’s just a sin. No different than the rest, like I said. As for maturity, look at our tones. Youre hateful, name calling, and I’m just here. I pray you know gods love someday.
judging is sinful. wearing mixed fabric is sinful. eating pork or shellfish is sinful. premarital sex is sinful. "let he who is without sin cast the first stone", why are you throwing stones? you think you speak for god? you don't. the worst part abt the religion is the fact that a bunch of men change the bible then claim to speak god's word. you're doing satan's work, good job.
yall loveee to pick and choose what verses to follow, why choose the hateful ones? really showing your true colors. you do not speak for god nor do you do his work, satan is working through you and the only one that will suffer from that is you. i pray you learn to love yourself and others
You can acknowledge sin without having a judging negative heart. I’ve said multiple times to you, sin is sin. You are a no bigger sinner than me. Ephesians 5:11 “Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them “If someone is caught in sin, you who live by the spirit should restore that person gently”
"Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God” There are many more which I don’t feel like copying and pasting. You know it’s a sin. But it’s no greater than the rest. I am very worried about my own sins. I’m also worried about you.
mathew 6:1 "Beware of practicing your righteousness before other people in order to be seen by them, for then you will have no reward from your Father who is in heaven." you are a hypocrite trying to claim someone has a splinter in their eye, meanwhile you do not notice the log in yours. to that, he says you cannot remove others' specks without first removing your own. you condemn yourself by claiming sin on others.
u are blatantly choosing a translation that justifies ur view tho? the word used does not mean “men who have sex with other men,” as that is a much later interpretation of the text, but, by context of how the word is used in other instances, more refers to men who sexually exploit others. aka NOT homosexuals
The Bible does not condemn loving, consensual, committed same-sex relationships anywhere. The passages most often cited focus on ritual/taboo, exploitation, or idolatrous sexuality, not personal orientation or affection. Relationships like David/Jonathan or Ruth/Naomi are never criticized, even though they are intensely intimate and same-sex.
Ruth 1:16-17 And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God: Where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried: the LORD do so to me, and more also, if ought but death part thee and me.
1 Samuel 18:1 …that the soul of Jonathan was knit with the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul. 1 Samuel 18:3 Then Jonathan and David made a covenant, because he loved him as his own soul. 1 Samuel 18:4 And Jonathan stripped himself of the robe that was upon him, and gave it to David, and his garments, even to his sword, and to his bow, and to his girdle. 1 Samuel 19:1 But Jonathan Saul’s son delighted much in David.
