Where? I haven’t seen that happen outside of explicitly conservative “LGB” spaces

Not accusing you necessarily, just curious and confused. Sorry if I came off too strong

I wouldn’t say most of them identify with that label but I’ve noticed a pattern specifically from terfs where when you call them out not just for transphobia but any kind of bigotry they immediately try to label you as a misogynist so they can dodge accountability

I think cis people as a broader community need to understand that unfortunately now more than ever being transphobic is no longer an extremist position and a lot more normalized than a lot of people want to admit even if you yourself aren’t transphobic

That doesn’t sound like a “queer spaces” issue as much as a “transphobes have a victim complex” issue, though.

But it happens in queer spaces I’ve personally experienced it multiple times

Where? Because again, I haven’t really seen it outside of specific, explicitly conservative areas. I’m sure it has happened in normal queer spaces, but I’m less sure that it happens in queer spaces often enough that a specific callout is warranted. If it’s happening less internally than externally, then it’s not a “queer spaces” issue. It’s a “society” issue.

Just because it hasn’t happened to you or you don’t see it doesn’t mean it’s not a problem. Your experience isn’t the only one that matters and you’re nitpicking. I’m not going to sit here and list out every single person and place I’ve experienced transphobia just because you haven’t.
