is it unethical to not disclose my transness to future roomies? im transfem nb and hoping to start hrt soon. it feels disingenuous to not say anything (i don’t want to make anyone uncomfortable), but coming out to irls is scary. they seem cool, but still

i don’t think it’s *unethical* but it’s probably inadvisable, you don’t want to try an avoid an uncomfortable conversation now just to end up in an uncomfortable (or dangerous) living situation later.

if you don't want to, don't. In this political climate that could be your safety at risk and your safety is worth a whole lot more than ethics to cis people.
