If your nipples are grafted it’s likely that the nerves will have a more difficult time growing back, but if your surgery preserves the original nipple placement you can retain and regrow some nerves. Mine were grafted and I can barely feel them

what if u get heart shaped nipples? is that grafted or no?

i think those are done with tattoos

Yeah my surgeon said they can’t really do shaped nipples, since it complicates the healing process

I had double incision with a nipple graft. The zaps are really only a possibility if you have a nipple graft since they fully remove the nipple, sometimes cut the areola smaller to make it appear more masculine, and reattach it. You may or may not get sensation back in them. And yeah, shaped nipples (like a heart) are done post-op with tattoos. It’s an option if you chose not to have a nipple graft, or possibly for people whose nipple grafts failed
