I feel like the strong hatred for furries is rooted in homophobia and ableism. Since most furries are gay and neurodivergent. If most furries were straight white neurotypical men, furries would be socially accepted.

Therians aren’t hurting anyone and are often kids having fun with their identities and imagination. Don’t quash their fun just because you weren’t permitted the same opportunity.

I had plenty of fun as a kid 😭 in fact I would pretend to be a dog frequently as a kid, but I never legit thought that I was a dog and I also did not carry that into adulthood
