
I feel the same way with wlw relationships when the same is done. Like we don’t need them to fit gender roles and expectations of heteronormative relationships, there are completely different dynamics these couples can have and it doesn’t have to be one is hypermasculine and the other is hyper feminine
Nothing wrong with that! 😊 The particular artist I’m talking about though gives me the impression that they feminize the other male character to the point of gender-bent just because it’s what’s popular and to make the ship more hetero-esque. I don’t actually think I’ve ever seen them refer to the ship art as mlm even though both characters are originally male. Which feels weird to me. :p
