
honestly it’s more about the comments than the posts. There’s always multiple people like ‘I’m not <whatever identity> BUT…’ and then proceeds to have a strong opinion on that identity. And then people who actually are that identity will disagree and they will literally tell them they’re wrong about their own identity. It’s so. tiring. and so. common.
since someone’s gonna ask, I’m a pansexual lesbian. it’s a dual label originating from the Split Attraction Model, so no I’m not calling myself just “a lesbian,” since “pansexual lesbian” is distinct from that. and no, my identity won’t make straight men think lesbians are attracted to them, since I don’t tell anyone who’s not queer.
Girl I get not wanting to like use the word ‘homoromantic’ and using lesbian instead cus that’s a long ass word and most people have never even heard it before 😭 I went through a phase when I thought I was bisexual homoromantic but then I figured out I’m just a lesbian all around 👩❤️💋👩
