I’ve never been in love and I’m worried it won’t happen for me. I’m in my mid twenties now and I’ve still never kissed or had sex or fallen in love or even held hands. I just want my turn to be happy.

I know people say that us queer folks go by different timelines than straight people do but I really don’t know if I believe that anymore. Every other queer person I’ve met has done more than me at a younger age. I know queer men younger than me who have had a dozen boyfriends and I know queer women younger than me who have been married and divorced already. It’s not fair. I feel like everyone else gets to get what they want and I don’t.

for what it's worth, I doubt that either the person with a dozen boyfriends or the person who already got divorced feels like they got what they want
