trans women and black queerfolk both experience compounding oppression. this is why the term transmisgyny was invented

No use in debating a fundamentally flawed idea. Literally oppression Olympics

Just because I say something’s fundamentally flawed doesn’t mean I don’t understand it. Crazy how you resort to personal attacks instead of actually presenting a counter argument of it being fundamentally flawed. I graduated in sociology and received an award in sociology. I’d have to say I’m pretty well versed in the subject lol

Oh, Masters degree well versed? I have to say im doubtful considering you dont have the vocabulary to express why the theory is wrong.

For me to do that, I’d have to get you to understand basic things like how being “trans” doesn’t make you more marginalized since it’s a mental disorder that no one can see. It’s like saying anxiety disorder makes you more marginalized. The only way someone is going to see you have anxiety and “oppress” you for it is by you wearing a T-shirt saying you have anxiety disorder. Dysphoria is a disorder no one can see, but some who have it decide to change their appearance which is counterintuitive

If someone wants to battle gender dysphoria, the game plan isn’t to surrender to it. It’s to battle it, the same as you would any other mental disorder. I’m not going to pick apart every single flawed concept regarding oppression because that would take days. I’m just glad more and more people are becoming aware of the flawed thinking. I was a leftist up until a year of graduating. I know it takes time and I can’t change your thinking from one conversation. I’d just say to have an open mind

I’m crying, being trans DOES make you marginalized because the only “treatment” is to move between gender roles that are set by society. Anxiety cannot be seen. Being trans can. You aren’t going to pick apart the theory because it’s way above your pay grade and intellectual ability. Much love.

You still have yet to explain why matrixes of domination theory is wrong.

Black trans women experience further compounded oppression than white trans women.

Its a way of identifying certain oppressions. Its not a competition but its important to recognize the compounding differences between two separate groups who experience life differently.

just to be clear is compounded oppression a synonym of intersectional oppression?

It is mostly a quantification of the intersection oppressions. For cis white women, their intersection would be whiteness and womanhood and cisness, so its only one layer of oppression. A white trans woman has the compounding factors of tranness and misogyny, so trans misogyny. To your point.
