Dating as a gay trans man is so hard, I HATE IT. Gay men lose interest when they find out I have a vagina and straight men don’t want me for obvious reasons. Gay trans men are rare, and I have so much trouble finding others near me to talk to.

It’s so fucking rough. Especially being stealth where I don’t love my first interaction just announcing I don’t have balls. Like cmon just let me get laid without worrying if im being seen as a man

Feeling this way too much as an amab enby 😭 Everyone who actually respects my non-binary identity only wants to be friends (which is fine, but still), gay guys want to be able to just think of me as a man, I’m not enough of a woman for the lesbians, and even bi people kinda just want one or the other

I mean I’m gay and I like trans guys. I don’t mind that you have a vagina and tbh I think I prefer it

Oh my god, I’ve literally lost so much sleep over this fact. It makes me feel very sad and like I’ll never find anyone :) I love that I transitioned, I don’t love how hard it is to find a partner

I hate having to disclose my gender identity at first interaction, but I still do it. I just try to casually drop in that I’m a trans man or sometimes I’ll just say it outright. It sucks, but it’s a great way to filter people out and not waste time.

I pray it gets better for all of us 🤞🏼I just tell myself “I’ll meet the right one eventually” and I just hold on to that sliver of hope that a guy I talk to won’t mind it.

The bi one especially, and not specifically genuine bi people, but it’s too many people identifying as pansexual when they’re just bi 😭

I’ll never change my mind on transitioning, I love it and will NEVER go back, but the one thing that sucks is the dating life, it’s depressing.

Wish more were like that! And I totally understand and respect that people have genital preferences which is perfectly fine and valid, but I just had to vent that the dating sucks after transitioning.
