No literally. It was one of the hardest things to ever go through. Constantly having to “man up”, being harassed and treated as a weak man for being fem, it was all terrible

This is true but also ironic because the poster (gin) is transphobic herself

no fr and trans women have to deal with misogyny and the plights of womanhood too. anyone who's ever experienced being a girl or woman gets put thru immense fucking trauma (said as a transmasc person) and on top of that tgirls had to deal with all that bs too, its actually insane. tgirls truly are our strongest warriors 🦭🦭

Sounds like gin is a shitty person for other things she’s said but I’m so glad these comments clarified what she meant in this one 💀 I fully took it to mean “because trans women had a male upbringing, that is traumatic for other women to know and they should fear this person like they fear other men” Which I understand now is the take she was arguing against but I did see the posts of her being icky first

Yeah can we not with this bs. Trans women who transitioned late in life and especially those that don’t pass as women do not and have not experienced misogyny in the way that cis women do. It’s not comparable vice versa either. Idk why ppl feel the need to include themselves in trauma that does not impact them.

Why are you assuming that being raised as the wrong gender makes trans women think rape jokes are funny or makes them shame other women? More often than not, I’ve seen trans women who were forced to act masculine, have a strong dislike of that traditionally toxic masculine behavior after being forced to endure it against their will

Ah yes, the mass epidemic of trans women making rape jokes, definitely a thing that’s happening Hate it when trans women do that and make fun of women for their appearance. Cis women would never make fun of other women for their appearance. That never happens

…well believe it or not, your comment is an excellent example of misogyny. Nobody said it’s the same thing or impacts people the exact same way. Why do cis women get a monopoly on having experienced misogyny? It DOES impact trans women too. Misogyny and transphobia go hand in hand. We all want the same things. Equality, respect and compassion. Trans women would 100% be on your team and back you, yet you’re complaining about them speaking on the same issues you face? Make it make sense.

Where did I say it was a mass epidemic? You’re the one making generalizations. I know lots of trans women who are great, but that doesn’t mean I don’t know trans women who suck in ways that are the direct result of how they were raised due to gender norms.
