I only mention it when I’m talking to someone sexually because people have preferences for or against the body type I have

I think they just do it to specify further.

Like I haven’t taken any hormones or gotten surgeries or anything so it’s just a quick way to explain what type of body I have

Even then doesn’t it aide you more to say “I have a ___” because someone who’s lets say, amab. They could have a vagina, or penis, or flat chest, or breasts. Assigned sex at birth does not determine what genitals or sexual characteristics you have now

Fair point I just say F instead of afab because of that. Saying F is more efficient than saying “I have boobs and a vagina” every time 😅 especially since I don’t like using those terms

That does make sense! I honestly mean more of people online saying “as a afab nonbinary I think _____” or “I’m gender fluid (biologically female”) and I ____ and 99% of the time that information changes NOTHING

Ohhh okay I see what you mean, I saw that one post earlier too😭 I don’t do it in a bioessentialist “I understand more than you” way or anything I just do it for personal preference and ease of communication in certain contexts
