One of my white queer friends described an online discourse they were in as being lynched and i was genuinely like wtf is wrong with you why are we using actual racial violence terminology to describe your stupid arguments on the internet

these people don't spend time with or learn about people of color, so they always assume they're the most oppressed in the room. honestly they don't engage in community at all and think that it's just like a friend group where they can kick out people for personal grievances.
