what’s it like to get your masters out of the country? were you able to get a fellowship or any of it paid for by TAing?

it was nice, for my program it was the same cost as it would have been in the US bc it was shorter (just a year) and i just took out my max federal student loan and (full disclosure) had help from family & also got a job. there were also scholarships through the university. as far as fellowships and things i feel like i mostly knew PhD students with them. but that could vary depending on university/program
