Ethnic meaning relating to the ethnic model which argues that sexual orientation is an intrinsic feature of one’s identity and not just a behavioural pattern or action. ‘Ethnic’ sexual orientation (identity/attraction) is the opposite of ‘political’ sexual orientation (behaviour)
