NYC and all of its benefits are paid for by the exploited recourses of those upstate who have no say in state votes and have been deemed not profitable enough to care about This is a large reason why things like developing the most violent school district in the US has happened up there and nothing has been done Not to mention NYC has legal rights to use the natural recourses free of charge before those who live there have a chance to pay for them in order to boost their economic output

All of the better life that has been promised and will help millions down there only exists because of exploiting the even poorer upstate are being exploited and barely struggling to live or more often just dying off It’s beyond depressing to just take a random exit on the through way and pass by a bunch of boarded up buildings and one gas station still standing because they can’t really afford to move and are kept alive by occasional people passing through

Why would they Upstaters don’t get a vote They are a minority of the population once u include Albany who is the only other place sitting pretty Not to mention NYC hates upstate and doesn’t care All that happens is a candidate pops up every year who wants a 2-3 state solution who fails because they’re just some annoying Republican and upstaters just want normal help The governor is just in service to who ever is in charge of NYC and that’s all they need to know to succeed

Sorry, I only converse with individuals who have a decent grasp of grammar and the English language, as well as a legitimate understanding of what colonialism *actually* is. You severely lack all three.
