dude i get downvoted here regularly for defending bisexuals and men and people attracted to men, and when i said let's maybe focus on queer stuff instead of random us politics unrelated to queer stuff, and saying hey let's not be bigoted to XYZ group

I get your focus! Yes, we shouldn’t have biphobia or misandry. But for undocumented queer folks specifically, immigration politics IS queer politics. A lot of us fled our countries because of persecution for our identities. Deportation literally means going back to that danger. So protecting undocumented queer people’s safety is protecting the community.

This is why many queer communities are teaching people how to identify ICE vehicles and how to protect themselves. But I also get it if you are not a person from the US because it’s even harder to understand from other countries’ perspective.
