especially when drunk, even though I know that there are several reasons she wouldn’t be the best partner/ we wouldn’t work out. Am I actually developing a crush or do I just feel the intimacy of emotional closeness??

Sounds like the intimacy of emotional closeness in my opinion. Then again plenty of people get a crush on their friends and it doesn’t mean anything it could be a platonic crush or maybe something more physical/romantic.

You’re probably right 😔 and even if it is a platonic type of crush that could develop into something else, it would probably be way better that nothing happen if I’m not 100% sure I want to be in a relationship with her.

It’s just difficult because I’ve only ever had one partner before and I really miss being in a relationship and feel ready to move on, but I’m really not interested in/feel incapable of meeting anyone through normal (allosexual) means like dating apps or bars/things like that, so the idea that I could be attracted to someone again because I’m close to them is exciting to me
