I’m assuming you commented on the post about transmisandry, and that IS a real term referring to real intersectional discrimination. it’s VERY different from just “misandry.” even if you don’t use the term or think “misogyny” covers it well enough, implying transmisandry is an “incel dogwhistle” isnt it.

the correct term is anti-transmasculinity. transmisandry is a misnomer that was coined by transmisogynistic bigots. “misandry” is not an independent concept, it is an incel dogwhistle used and popularized by the manosphere. that is why it was used. misogyny as a concept exists independent of transmisogyny, both exist and transmisogyny functions as a standalone concept.

anti-transmasculinity clearly describes what is actually being targeted: transmasculinity. we’re not being targeted for being men, but for being *trans men/transmascs*. i’m saying this as an ftm butch with a degree focusing in gender studies. i’m tired of seeing misandry/transmisandry laundered and validated as a term in queer spaces.
