I don't think it's a literacy crisis just because some people can't clearly articulate the point they're trying to make. Since you get it, you explain. Tell me how it makes sense to tell someone they need to read queer theory then to say "idgaf about identity politics do what u want" in response to someone saying they already have read it? That doesn't make sense because clearly you do care about identity politics if you're telling people to read queer history to learn about identity politics
