This is giving “white liberals know what’s best for minorities” type of vibe. Minorities do not like dealing with White “savior” complex

OP is complaining about Native Americans not being political, people have right to not be political, if they feel they are not being supported or respected

To be fair, democrats have done nothing for Native Americans, so I understand why they don’t want to be involved in politics

op was originally saying it’s unbelievable for trans women to be apolitical due to the politicized identity. having two politicized identities makes that more unbelievable. it’s very clear that was the intention

you don’t have to be in a party to be political

I’m not trans, but I don’t think we should be telling them what’s best for them

Well it’s usually the liberals that use people’s skin color and identity for votes

hiii im the op! thank you because i was truly confused about the quote to my post. a lot of people are misunderstanding what im saying and it’s getting annoying. it does not make sense for minorities, especially native Americans to put themselves as not political when all of us are at risk right now.

Politics never benefitted Natives Americans for generations. I can understand the reason why they don’t engage in politics at all. It’s because they feel like they don’t get anything. And you have to consider their environment too, it is likely that they have parents, family, even community members that aren’t political either.

they have a right to not be political??? that is a stupid mindset. politics affects you either way, and by choosing not to be political you are choosing to let it fuck you over without doing anything.

you can choose not to be political, but you can't get upset when people say "hey that's dumb" because it is. it's like saying "im drowning but i can ignore it". you cannot ignore it because it will come for you either way.
