So what does it mean when I think I’m trans but not fully trans. I just want bottom surgery but I still want to be known as a woman with she/her pronouns?

whether you ID as trans is up to you personally, but in order to access care/get insurance coverage you’ll probably have to say you ID as trans.

If you’re not identifying with the gender you were assigned at birth, then congrats you’re trans by definition! You don’t HAVE to use that label of course, but it’s definitely yours no matter “how” trans you are. If you’re lookin for identities a little deeper and more nuanced than just “I am girl”/“I am boy” then id definitely see if you resonate with any non-binary identities!

trans people don't need to get bottom surgery to be trans, cis people can get bottom surgery and still be cis

Thank you for this! And of course I’m with being called trans, I just still feel like a girl at the end of the day. I’m definitely gonna look more into the different identities
