Try not use the word “turn.” Not only because there’s no such thing as that but also because it’s harmful to our community. Homophobic people will latch onto that to further justify their bigotry towards our community. Also doing so inadvertently validates conversion therapy which obviously doesn’t work and is extremely psychologically harmful to the victims as reported by the American Psychological Association.
