I feel like that goes for a lot of white queer people in general because they tend to live in a bubble of privilege before coming out and even after because a lot of people here only care about discrimination if it impacts them

my best friend is a white gay man and he is so oblivious on a lot of queer issues like how are you not at least a little more educated on your own community especially when you're chronically online
