I live in nyc some tips here: There is a lot to do, restaurants, bars, museums. Make sure you budget and pace yourself. I’ve seen many people move here and financially burn out fast. Roommates can make or break your experience. Make sure you live with someone you trust who is reliable and stable. The gay scene is large but can be cliquey. Find a good core of friends and don’t get hung up on bitchy or distant gays

State or City? I can’t say anything about NYC but I’m in WNY, Rochester/Buffalo/Syracuse area.
