I fear so much of the LGBTQ+ community is so out of touch with real life. Yes, LGBTQ+ rights are so important but there is way more that exists outside of that and it’s our responsibility to stand up in solidarity for every group that is oppressed

It kind of is actually. So often we overlook other groups’ inequality bc we no longer face the same overt oppression while they do. And we should be speaking out on behalf of ALL marginalized groups

Genuinely, I feel that a lot of white queer people (myself included) take advantage of the general acceptance that we experience a lot of the time. Idk who needs to hear this, but even if you are a white queer person, you are still privileged. In my opinion, there are much harder things to be than gay.
