If someone says it is important to me that my partner has sexual/romantic attraction towards me and you KNOW you are ace/aro maybe don’t try and trick the person into thinking that you have romantic/sexual attraction so you can get access to their body

Hell even if you are questioning you should be upfront with someone that says that they have those types of boundaries

my ex said he was also ace when we got together, later on he realized he wasn’t. while we were still together he tried to convince me that i was at least demi so we could do things with each other. just glad i got out of there before i left him touch me

I’m glad you did too! I just think it is so important to be honest about these things bc it contributes to the success of the relationship and the happiness of everyone involved

absolutely. he blamed me for his sexual frustration and tried to make me feel bad. besides the emotional manipulation putting your partner in that kind of position is just terrible
