Not sure if you’re looking for advice, but it might help to build up a specifically queer community to talk about lgbt+ stuff with so the lingo feels more natural when you’re in mixed company, most queer people will be chill about not getting everything perfect right away, especially in specifically queer spaces that are looking to welcome folks
