How tf are there still people who didn’t know this after the BLM protests? Like they have to be living under a rock. The whole country was BUILT on the government murdering black people and getting a raise for it

i would say the left knew this all along and it was the moderates whom were confused. not ignoring the validity of the original message ofc.

Yeah I definitely disagree with this😭 until George Floyd many people wouldn’t even admit racism existed in this country. Even now, many liberals don’t want to abolish ice or defund the police. I think people don’t get that both democrats and republicans support fund ice and the police even if one side claims to care about minorities more.

i actually agree with you. Liberals did absolutely nothing after the 2020 movement. They all just postured in government. When i say Left is mean the global left like socialists not the American liberal left.

When the protests were happening, my grandma would not shut up about how she can’t believe there were still protests. I tried to explain that the problems were still happening and that’s why there were protests. She didn’t get it. Maybe people unaffected by these issues think that the situations are one offs and not ongoing?
