Just let it die. I have two trans coworkers and neither of them care as long as you’re not doing it in purpose. If they have a problem with it it’s on them to tell you

Trans man here. Don’t bring it up, it would likely resurrect some of the feeling of discomfort. He probably just wants to forget about it and knows that it wasn’t done with ill intent

i would rather someone not mention it to me after they misgender me, as long as they make an effort not to do it again

Just be casual about it. Just be like “Hey. Sorry for misgendering you the other day.” and then move on
