I’m so tired of religion being forced on me. I don’t want to hear “but my sect doesn’t” or anything like that so please don’t. I’m venting about my general experience with those who *do* do it. It’s exhausting, it is painful, it is infuriating. I’m tired.

God is an unreliable narrator, and even if he did want us, he should probably clear up the literal thousands of sects of Christianity first. What is the right one? Which god? Yours, or one of the 45,000 other versions of god from the same bible

Please understand that this is why your religion is losing followers. People think and decide, it’s a defining characteristic of us. Is this God the same god that got angry when his followers thought for themselves by gaining knowledge of right and wrong? Who demanded blood sacrifice for thousands of years? The one who decided that only the blood of a god is good enough to quell his blood rage? And then impregnated a teenager? That God? He can keep the invite.
