How it feels to drop in, say “I simply would not care,” and leave

It’s just the concept that the pronouns someone likes doesn’t directly correlate to what gender they feel they are, ik of masc lesbians that are comfortable with he/him pronouns but they don’t actually feel like a guy

it’s so weird to me that people assume that pronouns = gender after YEARS of saying the opposite. i get protecting our label, but are we fr guys? 💔

anyone who doesn’t understand he/him lesbians or transmasc lesbians/ butches should read Stone Butch Blues by Leslie Feinberg. everyone should read it anyways

Like I'm not gonna date them bc I like fems but genuinely it doesn't affect me or anyone. No ones making you date them so let's just let queer people be queer however they want

Does this apply to trans men identifying as lesbians as well?

People are able to comprehend drag queens identifying as gay men but using she/her, but can’t seem to comprehend the opposite

It doesn’t seem like it based off some of the comments talking about pronouns not always equaling gender😭 I’m not coming at anyone, I’m just curious if this was specific or more general

I made no comment about whether this happens irl or not and I’m not even commenting on my personal opinion on it. Just curious the specificity of this post.

trans men cant identify as lesbians because they are men. however, transmasculine lesbians are lesbians because their masculinity itsnt tied to their gender identity.

i really couldn’t care less what other people identify as because i don’t think it’s that important

I totally agree and I’m tired of being treated like I’m insane for thinking it’s invalidating for both identities for a MAN to call himself a lesbian. transmasculine lesbians: gender-nonconforming, leaning toward masculine presentation. not a man. can be lesbian trans men: not a lesbian because MEN are not lesbians
