SHOUT OUT ROC!!! I just moved away last year but I’ve lived there all my life! I’ve only been to ROAR and I’ll give it mixed but generally positive reviews.

yeah, ROAR is a pretty popular gay bar in rochester, and while it is not a gay bar explicitly, Vertex(my regular spot)is also pretty gay, as its a goth club and theres a huge overlap between gays and goths
