I do think there are gay men that are misogynistic but I’m starting to see that being used as a way to be homophobic while shielding yourself from criticism

Umm. No. Sexist gay men are sexist and that is NEVER okay. Sexism should be called out ALWAYS. No matter what man is doing it.

Sexism is not “being thrown around” it is probably the most rampant form of discrimination on the planet. That is called reality. And there IS a ton of sexism and lesbophobia among trans people towards lesbians. Sounds like YOU are just a sexist gay man and trying to dismiss sexism.

No he is basically saying that it’s okay for gay men to be sexist and they should not be called out for it. Obviously nobody here is homophobic but if you’re being sexist, then you deserve to be called out. I don’t want to hear any bitching from a man about being discriminated against when he is being called out for discriminating against women. No. That’s not how it works.
