I do think there are gay men that are misogynistic but I’m starting to see that being used as a way to be homophobic while shielding yourself from criticism

Umm. No. Sexist gay men are sexist and that is NEVER okay. Sexism should be called out ALWAYS. No matter what man is doing it.

A lot of lesbians also love to throw misogyny around any time someone calls them homophobic or transphobic just a cycle of everyone trying to weaponize oppression instead of deconstructing their own biases

Sexism is not “being thrown around” it is probably the most rampant form of discrimination on the planet. That is called reality. And there IS a ton of sexism and lesbophobia among trans people towards lesbians. Sounds like YOU are just a sexist gay man and trying to dismiss sexism.

Exactly! People just want an excuse to hate women. (Like OP) It’s disgusting.

OP didn’t say we shouldn’t call out sexism, just that there’s no need to be homophobic while doing so
