Like genuinely it makes no difference except people won't say it lol it's like how if you don't date outside your race, or you don't date fat people or you don't date poor people or whatever, there's no actual problem with that until you make it weird by verbalizing it too much. That's what'll happen here lol people aren't gonna suddenly start dealing with penises just because it's problematic not to, they'll just stop saying they don't like penises. Maybe that is the end goal idk
Assuming someone’s genitals or refusing to date them even after surgical correction is, however, transphobic, and they still will tout “genital preference” nonsense. 99% of the time, it’s used to dismiss all trans people outright, regardless of genitals. It’s just a “convenient” out for them.
I think the goal is to get people to stop saying that they don’t find penis attractive. I do want to point out that people in my experience have been much more likely to call out the transphobia when someone says something negative about a penis and the same energy isn’t had for people saying negative things about vaginas
Anyone, but especially lesbians, should be allowed to say they don’t find penis attractive. Gay men can say they don’t find vagina attractive and it’s fine, that isn’t misogynistic. It’s when they say vaginas look like flesh monsters is when it gets weird, as cis women are already subjected to insane body standards by society.
