I’m kinda thinking about how Gen Z was talked about here but this is still true of younger people. Their version is more like deciding if genocide is an appropriate price to pay for a mid coffee.

I mean I figured, but that’s so, reductionist, I guess would be the right word. Acting like chick fil a is the only company that does this kind of shit is idiotic. I’m not saying that “you should eat at chick fil a” I’m just saying you’re missing the forest for one ugly-ass tree.

Yes, chick fil a is not the only company doing this- it is only one example. I never said otherwise and even included a second example. my point was about ppl being overly optimistic about the willingness of young people to put in effort to change behaviors that produce poor outcomes for other people. I already know that there is no ethical consumption under capitalism.
