Oh yeah, 100% agree. Mine was mainly awkward because of who I had to have the conversation with. My partner and I are semi coworkers and the girl who was flirting with me was his subordinate.

Oof, for me it was this person on campus and she was like an incoming freshman, mind you I'm like almost a junior, but she was like asking some questions and started acting flirty, i decided to just kinda give her a hint in case she wasn't because I'm not the best at detecting that.

Yeah, it never hurts to casually drop in “Oh my boyfriend and I…” just to be safe. With my situation, she was flirting with me and my boyfriend (aka her boss)

YES. She was flirting with her boss. She’s a nurse. He is the chief of emergency medicine and head attending physician. I am a paramedic.

That’s my thing. Yes, I know that my partner and I are technically coworkers but he is no where near being my boss and we met when I was working as a firefighter so like it’s not that bad compared to what she was trying.

Well, the main thing about that too is that you both agree to how you interact with each other. You know each other, so you guys not being professional 100% of the time makes sense. You were probably friends at some point before dating, too. But a complete stranger flirting w someone at work, regardless of whether that someone is single or not??? Naw, wrap it up, we’re done. We’re done.
