Reference to some random internet drama I got dropped off in the middle of today, basically the Boston globe dropped a story about some huge drama with a Covid conscious lesbian bar in Massachusetts. From what I got, the bar had a strict mask policy but decided to change the rules to make one night of the week mask optional. Hell broke loose on the post announcing the change

The “hijab inspired secular accessory” part comes from someone who made a comment wishing the bar would be destroyed, turns out this person is white and is wearing what looks like a hijab in their profile picture, they specified that it is not a hijab but a “hijab inspired secular accessory”
