Sorry but I can’t agree with you on this one. You face the same discrimination and hate regardless of if you advocate. If we’re gonna claim to be accepting we can’t gate keep who’s “really” gay. That said the world would be a better place if the entire community rose to protect each other

meh, this political climate is so aggressive because we don’t advocate for our communities imo (see: pre y2k where everyone was friends with their neighbors) hard to be hateful when your enemy is someone you know
