some people treat bis like straight-lite/like they’re infiltrating the community to oppress the “real” gays. same thing has happened here to aspecs but less bc most pretend we don’t exist

Obviously, but I think just ignoring people who only want a reaction is better for us than trying to fight people who will never listen. I hate biphobia, it's something my partner and I experience because we can pass as a heterosexual relationship. If they're not listening when people explain, like the post OP is referring to, it's just better to block and move on. All we can do is try and educate people and then move on with our lives.

this isn’t a thread full of people trying to fight or reason with the ragebaiter though? we aren’t interacting with that person here, the quote-post is using it as context / an example of a broader phenomenon and we’re commiserating about it. probably most of us did already block them
