Wait until you find out a lot of the “bird”/ victim blaming women do behaviors develop from being raised “female” Why can’t the dolls be left alone for a second on that hellscape

i once said that trans men don't deserve to be fully excluded from the "girls and gays" community because they experience misogyny due to how they grew up and especially if they don't pass and i too got eaten alive. it's crazy how much nuance tiktok mfs lack

I mean yeah but that’s true of everyone, it’s more about being raised within patriarchy than being raised “male”

people who are raised as girls are taught the same beliefs though…

basing in on passing is a lil weird, but yeah I think “gays” in that context usually means generally queer

trans men who don’t pass will experience misogyny. just because i see them as men does not mean the majority of people will and it’s not crazy to point out how that will affect their experiences imo

but anyways, a lot of cishet women do not think trans men should be considered part of the “girls and gays” because they think trans men are “still just men.” which is true… but it’s a bit ignorant to not acknowledge that the “girls and gays” became a community because of shared misogyny/homophobia. both of which trans men can relate to. i just think it’s more nuanced than implying that trans men and cis men share the same experiences with gender and misogyny when they very much don’t.
