I’m getting hate on the post because I didn’t check my sources and should hold myself accountable for spreading misinformation. And then when I said I did thank the people for correcting me and why I believed it, I’m asked if I want a cookie.

Because more people will see your post, not Google, and assume it’s true. If you know it was incorrect, all you have to do is delete it so you’re not spreading misinformation
