If I apply a TINY tiny amount of my gel test on my upper lip/chin…. Would that have any effect like AT all. I alr use minoxidil/rice water. Or will it cause pure irritation. Anyone experiment ?

i am NOT an expert but my impression is that it's not the physical presence of testosterone in those location that causes hair growth, it's the actions that result from testosterone in your system overall. so I don't think it would do anything, but again I'm no expert on transitioning or using testosterone, I just know human anatomy stuff

I was on gel temporarily and i noticed that during that period i started growing shoulder hair (where i was applying the gel) so i say go for it, it can’t hurt even if it does nothing

Sigh. I figured. I just have a bunch of left overs bcz I switched to SubQ. I do put the residue of my shot on my upper lip and I CAN SAY the hairs I do have now have gotten darker BUT idk. I’m just impatient. I’m tired of being 22 looking 17

definitely valid to be impatient but just try to remember that you're basically running a puberty do-over to give yourself the correct puberty this time. it takes years for a cis person to go through the puberty they want and that's with all cylinders firing, endocrine-wise. doesn't make the wait any less annoying but hopefully makes it a little more understandable

hey man just wanna let you know what you prob shouldn’t be putting residue from your shot on your skin and it’s not exactly a safe medication to put on your skin. there’s a reason it’s for injections and not topical use. i totally get wanting to have darker facial hair (i’ve been on T for 3 years and my mustache is still light as shit) but there are better and safer ways to go about it.

make sure it’s not enough to be messing with your T levels if you’re already doing your shot! keep an eye on your hemoglobin and T levels
