you’re not calling out ai here, you’re dragging it and attacking one specific person’s character just because someone who’s not defending her ai usage called her chill… plus other online services with huge data centers are killing the planet just as much. it’s just so performative to pretend you’re protecting the planet bc one girl said she uses chat bots, meanwhile no one bats an eye at online streaming, gaming, and social media servers.

my god i’m not lying about anything nor do i use chatbots, i wasn’t even here when those posts were originally up and i agree that using ai for companionship is only harming people. this isn’t whataboutism or saying you can’t call things out because you’re not calling anything out at all. you’re just mad bc someone called her chill despite the fact that they LITERALLY agree with you. how on earth do you get all of that from someone simply calling her chill. zero nuance man

Hey so read my post. I said a person who uses chat bots as their girlfriend will not be emotionally regulated which is in line with what the original poster was talking about.
