i don’t mind when other queer women say it to describe themselves but i grew up in a homophobic environment and my family used to say it in a very not positive way when i was closeted 🥲 they made it sound like it lesbians/masculine women were dirty and it made them uncomfortable. but they always used that word to showcase their discomfort so it just brings me back to a very scary time i fear
