Is the new season of stranger things worth watching? I’ve heard a lot of bad things and I’ve enjoyed watching the show but I don’t know if I want to watch an ending that doesn’t do queer characters justice or simply the show itself justice

I honestly liked it, I was high for most of it tho. Like was it the best season of stranger things, absolutely not, but is it as bad as the internet is saying in my opinion no. Was it perfect, absolutely not but overall I think they did a good job tying up the show. A lot of the plot holes people are bitching about are explained in the show or just require like 5 seconds of critical thinking (there are some but I think that’s so they can announce future projects and continue to profit off of it)

But then maybe I like it bc of nostalgia and the fact that I’m the same age as the actors in the main party and I grew up with them and so when they showed clips from past seasons as a flashback I had an emotional connection to it. (Seeing one of the scenes from season 1 and thinking about me sitting in my basement with my group of friends while watching stranger things in 2016 while talking about how cool it was to see people our age acting in such a big show not on Disney)
