Bound (1996) is a really excellent crime drama centering on a blossoming lesbian relationship, and it was directed by the Wachowski sisters! hard recommend. if you’re open to thrillers & horror movies I could pull some more from my Letterboxd history

oh and Paris is Burning (1990) is a must-see documentary about the NYC ballroom drag scene, very effective as a window into cultural history, but I figured you were asking for fiction movies rather than documentaries
